Here I am

Have been working on upgrading the look of this site, but not the content (yet). I am presently working on 2 dance pieces, one for Leigh Evans and one for Erica Essner. I am also finishing off the material for a new CD that will come out on Porter Records later this year; duets with pianist Denman Maroney. (More on this later; I am very excited about these recordings.) Moving on: Katie Down (the other glass player) organized a new trio with myself and flautist Jeffrey Lependorf. The NewBorn Trio will be going to Kosovo in June to play in the New Spirit flute festival. Also, Ne(x)tworks has a few concerts coming up in June, as well. As the summer continues, I’ll be preparing for the three-week run of Tanya Calamoneri’s Art of Memory in August, in which I’ll be performing live. Then to top it all off, I am getting ready for the music software class I’ll be teaching at Bard College in the fall. So, there is a lot to write about. Now it’s just a question of finding the time, during all these projects, to write about them.
